Amazing Gracie – Part 8 of 11

13 Mar

When the day of the event arrived, Honey, Gini and I proceeded over to the center. We were filled with anticipation to see what God had in store for everyone that wonderful August night.

Upon arriving, we noticed only one thing, people! The place was packed. We couldn’t even park our own car. The lines wrapped around the building hours before even opening to the public.

We valet parked our car so that we could make it in before the service began. Grace had provided us with backdoor passes so that we could join the ministry team in prayer before the service began. Scurrying between the crowds and masses we made it there in perfect time.

That night Grace offered her thanksgiving to God for her father’s appearance as well as a new life with God. We all agreed!

As we were ushered to our seats that Grace had kindly reserved for us in the front row, I wondered how we would even know where her father would be in such a great crowd. My answer came clearly as we were seated right next to several reserved seats for her father and his family. We felt very blessed that she would have included us in such intimate company.

Usually the service began with music and Grace singing. Then she would offer a specific message, always led by the Holy Spirit, reaching out to the lost who needed Jesus. This was called a “salvation message.”  On this night, though, it was different.
